If you want to find and/or confirm the specs for your iPhone there’s a free program you can download from the app store that will do this (no affiliation, I just thought this was cool, and it’s free besides): http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=301417772&mt=8. You can see by the screenshot of the program running on my iPhone over there on the left that it will tell you the CPU speed, amount of RAM you have, the OS and Kernel versions, and bus speed, plus you can test the accelerometer and GPS–very cool.

My ipod touch 1G is a main iPod, Pda and more, and even has really been from the moment I bought it. It also operate the newest iPod system software, and also any application I might want it to run. I’m using it to post this remark right this moment. I’d say it can be a much more as compared to simply an “excellent hobbyist system” — it can be an exceptional iPod
