How to Get A 35% Discount On A New iPhone

iphone discountFound this over at my favorite iPhone forums: apparently there’s a way to get 35% off on a new iPhone, with a new plan and a Bing/MSN/Live account, by clicking on an ad that occasionally shows up if you search Bing for ‘att’. Here’s what to do:

Step 1: Go to bing.com

Step 2: Search for “att”.

Step 3: Click on “ATT Wireless” in the left sidebar.

Step 4: Click on the first “Sponsored Sites” result.

Step 5:
Enter your bing.com email address.

Step 6:
Click through att.com and buy your iPhone 3Gs!

After 1-2 days, your cashback will show up as “pending” in your bing.com account. You’ll have to wait a few weeks for it to be available to “claim,” at which point you can either have it sent to your paypal account, direct-deposited into your bank account, or request a personal check.

little over a month so I’m not sure if this still works or not but it’s worth a shot, plus I know for a fact that these Bing offers for everything from iPhones to purses randomly pop up all the time and vary from 6 to 40%, so regardless it’s worth looking for every now and then. Mind you, there have been some people who have been burned because they didn’t

see the fine print about this only being for people who are buying a new plan (the issue isn’t that this is a scam or anything, it’s being run by AT&T, it’s that if you don’t meet each of their criteria you won’t qualify for it–in short, read the damned terms before you buy and make sure you qualify): Bing Cashback Problems.
